Newhaven Pearl

Pearl’s son Classic Ezekiel is a handsome lad, almost pretty like his mum!

Waler mare Pearl

Central Australian Waler station bred stock horses were taken to Newhaven Station in the 1950s, the isolation and hard country protecting the impressive old-bloodlines and continuing the attributes of being wise and hardy. Excellent bone, some medium but largely light athletic types, with proven good temperaments. They were removed in the early 2000s, some saved from yards in Alice Springs and others (like Pearl) as youngsters in SA awaiting processing through Peterborough Meatworks.

This is what we know about how Pearl came to Victoria.
