This horse was identified from a truck list of horses rescued from sale yards in Alice Springs in the late 1980s when a Waler Society and stud book was being established to save the breed, with known stations identified at time of rescue. The origin station was not recorded on this particular list, just the destination, Peterborough Meatworks in SA.
